A1 LIST

1.  Persons whom the Society would support and who have been previously approved by the Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates in the breed and have the support of The English Ibizan Hound Club.

 

 A3 LIST

Persons whom the Club would support to award Kennel Club Challenge Certificates, but who as yet have not been approved by the Kennel Club.

 

BREED SPECIALISTS*

1.  To have a minimum of seven years judging experience in the breed and have the support of The English Ibizan

Hound Club.

2.  To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and passed the relevant examination on Kennel Club Regulations and Judging Procedures. (K.C. Policy)

3.  To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer on Conformation and Movement.  (K.C. Policy)

4.  To have attended a Conformation and Movement ‘Hands-on-Assessment’ conducted by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and passed the assessment. (K.C. Policy)

5.  To have bred or owned at least three Ibizan Hounds when they attained their first entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book. (K.C. Policy)

6.  To have attended an English Ibizan Hound Club approved seminar run in accordance with the Kennel Club Code of Best Practice and passed a Breed Assessment.

7.  To have judged the breed at ten shows with a minimum of 40 dogs present and judged.

8.  To have stewarded over a minimum of twelve days at shows.

9.  To have judged at an English Ibizan Hound Club show and/or Championship show without CCs.

 

NON SPECIALISTS*

1.  To have a minimum of seven years judging experience in any one breed (to include five years in Ibizan Hounds) and have the support of The English Ibizan Hound Club.

5.  To have awarded CCs in at least one sight hound breed.

6.  To have judged at an English Ibizan Hound Club show and/or Championship show without CCs.

7.  To have judged the breed at ten shows with a minimum of 40 dogs present and judged.

8.  To have attended an English Ibizan Hound Club approved seminar in accordance with Kennel Club Code of Best Practice and passed a Breed Assessment.

 

B LIST

Persons whom the Club would support to judge more than three classes of the breed, at either Open shows, or Championship shows without CCs.

 

BREED SPECIALISTS*

1.  Must have been active in the breed for at least five years.

2.  Must have judged at least nine Ibizan Hound breed classes at Open show level or higher with 20 dogs present and judged.

3.  Must have attended an English Ibizan Hound Club approved seminar in accordance with the Kennel Club Code of Best Practice and passed a Breed Assessment.

 

NON SPECIALISTS*

1.  To have a minimum of five years judging experience in their own breed.

2.  Must have judged at least nine Ibizan Hound breed classes with a minimum of 20 dogs present and judged.

3. Judged a Hound Group at Open show level or higher.

4.  Must have attended an English Ibizan Hound Club approved seminar in accordance with the Kennel Club Code of Best practice and passed a Breed Assessment.

 

C LIST

Judges the Club would support to judge three or less classes of the breed at Open level but whom, as yet, have not fulfilled any of the above criteria but have shown an interest in the breed.
